On the recommendation of CindyS, we went to the museum at Shelburne, south of Burlington. It was SO interesting and we could have filled a camera card just there if we'd wanted. We didn't allow quite enough time, but what we saw was great.

It's set up like a historical reproduction of a turn of the century village complete with smithy, print shop, weaver, train depot, etc. Thanks for the recommendation Cindy!
