Finally finished this collage and really like how it turned out. I made the frame from foam core and covered it in a textured, handmade paper and painted the recess area a dark green so there'd be some separation between the image and frame.
Lovely. I love nature and your blog is full of it. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I will have to become your follower so I won't miss out on any great photos that you take, and your art is wonderful. I will be visiting your other blogs as well.
Hi Terrie. I did a demo of this foam core frame in my book "Collage Journeys". Fun, eh? I love the way you used it here. The collage is gorgeous! This one-image-a-day thing is impressive. I can never stick to commitments like that. Thanks for commenting on my Cruciform Studies post. Hope I'll see more of your work here.
This blog started a couple years ago with my first attempt to complete a picture a day for a year. I made it into August but with quite a few misses in the last couple months. This year I've been inspired to try again.
My goals with the 365 project are to improve both my eye for noticing the unusual or pretty (even in the mundane) as well as to improve my skills. That means taking the camera off auto more often!
REMEMBER - You can click on any photo and see it larger and with more detail. Some of them look quite cool that way.
Love this collage. Earthy tones are beautiful matched with the bird, and the nature pieces.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on My Blog. I agree, balance is key. :)
